How BetDeals.com collects, uses and protects personal data.

1. Who we are
BetDeals.com is operated by eLand, Lda, NIPC 517 252 589, with registered/business address at Rua Carlos Charbel, 39A, Cacém, Portugal ("BetDeals", "we", "us"). For the personal data described in this policy, eLand, Lda is the data controller unless another organisation is expressly identified as acting in its own capacity.

2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to BetDeals.com, people who contact us, and business contacts who communicate with us about editorial, commercial or partnership matters. BetDeals is directed to adults and our Great Britain betting content is intended for people aged 18 or over.
3. Personal data we may collect

5. Contact forms and email
The contact form is processed through our hosting/form-service provider so that your submission can be stored, screened for spam and notified to us. Messages are then handled through BetDeals email systems. Please do not send sensitive personal information, payment information or gambling-account credentials through the contact form.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential technology is used to operate the site and remember your privacy choices. At launch, BetDeals does not intentionally deploy non-essential analytics or behavioural-advertising scripts. The consent manager is already in place so that future Analytics or Marketing technologies remain disabled unless you make the relevant choice. 7. External links, bookmakers and affiliate partners
BetDeals links to third-party websites, including licensed gambling operators. When you follow an external link, the destination website may receive ordinary web-request information such as your IP address, browser data, referrer information and any affiliate/referral identifier included in the link. The destination operator or network processes personal data under its own privacy notice and may act as an independent controller. Please read its privacy information before creating an account or providing personal data.
8. Market eligibility and approximate location
BetDeals is currently focused on Great Britain. When you load the site, our hosting provider Netlify may derive an approximate country and regional location from the network request so that BetDeals can decide whether commercial betting-offer buttons should be enabled. We use this result to distinguish Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), Northern Ireland and other locations. BetDeals does not use this feature to determine your precise street address, and we do not store your IP address or build a location profile in our own application for this purpose.
We use this processing on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating the service responsibly, presenting market-appropriate commercial links and reducing misdirected gambling marketing. Netlify may process network and request information as part of providing hosting and edge services under its own privacy and contractual terms.
9. Who we share personal data with
We may use service providers acting on our behalf for hosting, form processing, spam protection, email/IT infrastructure, security, professional advice and similar operational services. The site is currently hosted on Netlify, which may process technical data and contact-form submissions as a service provider. We may also disclose information where required by law, to regulators or authorities, or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
10. International transfers
eLand, Lda is established in Portugal. Some service providers may process data in other countries, including outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use or require an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses and/or the relevant UK transfer mechanism.
11. How long we keep personal data
- Ordinary contact-form and email enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing matter, legal claim or legal obligation.
- Business and contractual records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for any additional period required by applicable accounting, tax, limitation or other legal requirements.
- Technical/security logs are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security and troubleshooting, subject to the retention settings and obligations of our service providers.
- Your local cookie-consent preference is configured to expire after up to 180 days.
We may retain data for longer where reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve a dispute or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
12. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to be informed about processing; access personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict processing; object to processing; receive portable data in certain cases; and withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Because eLand, Lda is established in Portugal, you may also complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Av. D. Carlos I, 134, 1.º, 1200-651 Lisboa, Portugal. People in the United Kingdom may also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), depending on the processing and law applicable to them.
14. Automated decision-making
BetDeals does not make decisions about visitors based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
15. Children
BetDeals is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal data from children for gambling-related purposes. If you believe a person under 18 has submitted personal data to us, contact info@betdeals.com so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
16. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the site and the personal data we process. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the site, our service providers, tracking technologies, affiliate arrangements or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version on this page and update the date at the top. Where required, we will provide additional notice before materially new processing begins.
