How We Compare Betting Offers
Our comparison framework separates promotional headline value from the measurable conditions that determine how an offer works.
Version 1: facts before scores
BetDeals does not currently assign a numerical score or name a universal winner. We compare measurable terms and explain trade-offs so readers can decide which structure is relevant to them.
| Factor | What we record |
|---|---|
| Qualification | Minimum deposit, qualifying stake, opt-in or promo-code requirements and customer eligibility |
| Reward | Headline value, reward format, number of reward parts and whether the promotional stake is returned |
| Restrictions | Minimum odds, product restrictions, eligible markets and material exclusions |
| Timing | Offer window, reward expiry and last verification |
| Source | Operator terms or another primary source where available |
How comparison highlights are calculated
Labels such as “lowest qualifying bet”, “highest headline reward”, “lowest minimum odds” and “longest stated reward deadline” are calculated directly from the current structured deal data. Ties are shown as ties. They are factual descriptors, not recommendations.
What we deliberately do not combine
£40 of restricted free bets, £40 cash and £40 of product-specific tokens are not treated as economically identical. Where normalising a condition would hide an important restriction, BetDeals explains it in words instead of forcing it into a single number.
Commercial independence
Affiliate commission is not an input into comparison labels, factual tables or any future BetDeals Score.
Future BetDeals Score
We may introduce a score after enough verified historical promotion data exists to support a published, reproducible methodology. Until then, the comparison layer remains fact-led.
